Get the most out of your 72 hours and get organized!

In the case of a genuine emergency or major disaster such as a natural disaster, you are expected to get organized in 72 hours. Yes, that means that in the situation of a black-out, a flood, an earthquake or a gas explosion, in which the 72 hours or more to mobilize an aid, takes you to fend for yourself for a whole 3 days before someone comes to your rescue.

72 hours or 3 days without the aid of the info-structure; without the help of paramedics police or fire department is a long time to pass ... unless of course you are sufficiently organized, in which case an emergency treatment is much less difficult. The statistics show only 25% of the population is naturally organized, that three quarters of the population late on a risk of total disarray in emergency situations. To get organized, you need to come together and prepare an emergency kit, not only for your own safety, but for the safety of your family, your business and your pets.

Business:

As far as your business enterprises, lack of organization can cost you a lot time and money, should an emergency occur. Taking situations such as 9/11; never, ever, ever make the mistake of saving your information or General archiving backup files in the building in which you work.

Play it safe ... make sure that your company has a Business Emergency Preparedness Plan, Business Continuity Process, or Business Continuity and Disaster Preparedness Plan has filled in. Google any of the above, and you will receive a flood of information, and templates, free to download, which will save your company time and money saving, in the case of an emergency. Better safe than sorry, right?

Family:

It is imperative that you are willing, in your home and family life as well. Prepare a home emergency kit, and make sure that everyone in your household knows exactly where to find it, and where go to as a safe haven, you must be separated in any situation.

Not only does organization and preparedness you benefit, but it will also allow community resource/emergency workers to tackle those in urgent need quickly and effectively.

Have an emergency kit in your car from basic objects exists. You never know, so it works to your advantage to have such things as a flashlight, essential medicines, and copies of rules, a mobile device, batteries, radio, food, water and blankets to side.
